Hi as mentioned above have an old but reliable printer which has suddenly stopped working and has a full spectrum of flashing lights. There are many posts about this but they are all locked and I cannot see if the problem has been resolved.
Help please! X

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.
Are you using a HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One Printer - C310a printer?
What is the error that you get while printing apart from the lights?
How is the printer connected tot he MAC?
For now, let us try these steps to resolve this issue:
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Check for any jams inside the printer and reinsert the ink cartridges.
Perform the steps mentioned in this document.
If the print carriage does not move, try step 1 from this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
