Product: HP Deskjet 6940

I brought my school printer home during the pandemic as they don't want it and won't support it anymore.  They said that was fine.  It worked prior but at home, I turned it on for the first time and keep getting an out of paper error message when there is paper.  The red arrow on the front is continually blinking.  Does anyone know what that means?  Any help is appreciated!!!

I understand you are not able to print due to this error on the printer.

 

Kindly perform the steps from this document to resolve this issue.
