My printer is displaying remove and reinstall cartridges

my black ink was running out so I fitted the new one and it still won’t clear the problem there is a black circle on the error message so I presume the problem is with the black, I tried the hard reset and still doesn’t work

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Are you using HP genuine ink cartridges?

 

I understand the black ink cartridge is not working fine. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue.

 

This model printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode. Remove the black ink cartridge and try printing/copying in color to check if that works.
