Product: HP Office Jet 3830
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Mt HP Office Jet 3830 prints a scanned document in color but does not print a document from Word or another program in color.  Somebody is not shaking hands and I have tried Set up, Preferences, etc until I am blue.

Please try from applications. For example from Word

 

(a) Click Print,

(b) Click Printer Properties,

(c) Select Grayscale Off,

(d) Print

 

You can keep it as default, just tick the box to set this as default.
