Product: Office Jet PRO 8020
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

when I lift the cover to install the Ink cartridges the carriage won't move to the center so the new Ink cartridges can be installed.

Did you remove all packing material and tape?

The only packing material that I can see is the plastic on the carriage and that cant be removed until the carriage moves to the center.
