Goood morning, i Ihave a HP Desckjet D2460 printer that uses the colour HP22 ink cartridge. Now, the new catridge equipped with a new chip is doing me a problem, because, after installation on printer, and after few copies, the green indicator (on line-off-line) on printer flashes showing me that the printer is in error due to low ink level, but no message appear on PC monitor. Is there a procedure to do, in order to bypass the chip information and continue to print? I am sure in this case that the cartridge is not empty yet because it continue to release the three colors on a soft paper. The printer is connected on PC desktop HP P6216IT software 94CEv6PrA4, operating on Windows 7 Home Premium. Can you help me? Thank you very much!

You cannot bypass this alert. The message is a warning that one or more ink cartridges are low on ink and will need to be replaced soon.
Refer to the document 'Ink Alert' or 'Low on Ink' Message Displays for help.
