I put in a new black ink cartridge, and the printer recognizes that it has ink. When I print, a blank page comes out. This is the case if I try making a copy as well as printing.

Hi @MM7855

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Check ink levels, If any ink cartridges are critically low or empty, replace them with new genuine HP ink cartridges.

On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Estimated Ink Levels.

Clean the printhead

Touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. If print quality is unacceptable on the page that prints, touch Clean Again to perform a second cleaning, and then continue to the next step.

Check the ink cartridge vents

Refer to step 3 mentioned in this document.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report

On the printer, touch Settings, touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Look for black.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
