New printer had no color ink

Hp office jet pro 8710

1.  I've only printed in black, yet printer is telling me out of color ink

2.  How do I determine which ink is out?

3.  How do I remove ink cartridge?

A Printer Status Report lists the printer serial number, estimated ink levels, ink cartridge numbers, printer usage, and connectivity, scan, and fax settings.

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon .

  3. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Reports.

  4. Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Status Report.

    The printer prints the report.
