Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Changed the ink cartridges. HP Ink. Cleaned the cartridges many times. Re-booted. No ink comes out when printing. Nothing shows wrong with HP Print and Scan Doctor.

Does the same happen while copying?

 

If you have your old ink, are you able to print/copy anything from it?

  1. Load U.S. letter or A4 size, unused, plain white paper into the input tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

    The Setup menu displays.

  3. Swipe the display down, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  4. Touch Align Printer.

  5. After the printer prints the alignment page, touch OK, and then recycle or discard the alignment page.

  6. Try to print.

This did not work. I did what you said a few times over the past few days. I also checked with the HP scan and print doctor and it states that the unit is installed correctly. Any other idea? Uninstall and re-install perhaps?

Are you able to copy?

 

Let's try to do a root uninstall and reinstall of the software:

 

Unplug any USB cable, if any, before doing this.

 

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features

2.) Select your HP Printer

3.) Select Uninstall

4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers

5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete' or 'Remove Device'

6.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between "printui.exe" and "/s")

8.) Click on the "Drivers" tab

9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10.) Select Ok

11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows

12.) Close Devices and Printers

13.) Open up the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo

14.) Type c:/programdata and click Ok. Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

15.) Restart the computer.

I did ALL of your steps and still nothing comes onto the paper when I try to print.

Anything else to try?

Are you able to copy or when you print the print quality report, do you see any print?
