HP Deskjet 2400
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

I've had this printer for some time and have used the alignment process before.  I installed a new HP cartridge and decided to check the alignment since it hadn't been done in a while.

I printed out the alignment page and saw that the squares that were aligned were all over the place

I entered the numbers of the boxes as instructed

The only two options after entering the numbers are "done" or "cancel"

Canceling cancels the whole process, but done just closes everything without making any adjustments.  If I open the "align" dialog again, I'm forced to print a new page and start the process over again.

And yes, I turned the printer on and off again and tried again with the same result.

Shouldn't there be another "align" option after the boxes are filled in?
