No paper error

HP Photosmart 7520

I get an error message to load paper when there is paper already loaded.  It seems to not be grabbing the paper.  I have done all the recommended cleaning... I can kinda insert the paper manually and it will grab.  Was wondering what parts should be replaced or is it just time for a new printer??

No paper error

Hi @TattoodGemini

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

It seems like an issue with the paper sensors and the paper pick rollers. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Kindly refer to the steps mentioned in this document.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
