This message stays on my display. I’m unable to use the copy function because I can’t get this message off. I’ve restarted. Unplugged. Ran updates...nothing helps! I never had any memory device plugged in...

@HammockC

Welcome to HP support community.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to perform semi-full reset on the printer which are particular for your printer model. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

Non-Responsive Memory Device

Hi

I'm having the exact same issue.  Did the semi-full reset work?  If so, how do you do this?

Thanks

@Emma154
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • What is the product number of your printer? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824 (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).
  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your Printer prior to the issue?
  • Could you please share the picture of the error screen?
  • What is the Operating system?

Keep me posted for further assistance.
