My printer is a model HP OfficeJet Pro 8710, and it has worked fine the past several years. I recently installed the Office 365 applications, and I can print nearly everything from Word, Excel, Access and Outlook OK – with one exception: I cannot print envelopes with Access, which are created using Access’ Report feature.
This became a problem just recently after I reinstalled the printer using HP Smart. The Smart app up updated the printer driver with the most current version, and Access gets its paper size information from the new driver, which now contains no envelope sizes; so when I go to print, after loading the #10 envelopes into the tray, a ‘wrong paper size’ error msg comes back from the printer.
Access is missing a feature that Word has: Word can create custom piper sizes and Access cannot.
