Nothing prints on the envelope when sent from Microsoft Word, prints pages fine

Officejet pro 8600 Premium
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever I create an addressed envelope in Word and sent it to the printer, nothing prints on the envelope.  It prints regular documents in Word fine.  How do I fix this?

Are you getting any error message?

 

Meanwhile:

Update the printer firmware

Here are the steps:- Click here

 

Create a custom size to print on envelope:- Click here

Firmware and software is up to date.  I even tried to reinstall Word.  Still not printing on the envelope as it feeds through the printer

This might require remote access of the computer to fix this issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Office 8600 Premium.  Out of warranty. No ability to get case number or phone number provided.  Downloaded latest full service drivers and tried print doctor, all without success.  How do I get help from HP.
