I recently installed the color print cartridges to my Officejet Pro 6830 printer and I was able to print out a color E-Mail message shortly after.  Today when I went to print an E-Mail document, the printout only shows a few black lines but no words at all.  This occurs whether the black or color is selected when printing.  I cannot print out the Color Diagnostic page, because ... nothing prints.  The ink levels all show that they are full or 80% full (black ink).  I have taken out the ink cartridges and then put them back, but the issue still exists.  I have never had this problems before.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Smao

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "print quality" issue.

To better assist you -

1) Does the copy print out the same way?

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices?

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon . The Setup menu displays.

  3. Swipe the display to scroll to Reports, and then touch Reports.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report. The printer prints the report.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
