OfficeJet 6962 will not print black

Hi, I have an OfficeJet 6962 that I purchased from Target in January of 2019.  It has only used the cartridges that came with it and one additional set in that time period (17 months).  Recently started working from home and needed to replace the cartridges.  I bought the Target Up&Up brand of refurbished HP cartridges in the 902XL model.  The color cartridges work great, but the black did not.  I replaced the Up&Up black cartridge with a genuine HP 902 black cartridge.  It still does not print in black at all.  What do I do?  I hope these machines are not disposable after one year.  I have 4 brand new cartridges that cost more than the machine did originally.

It doesn’t do anything in black.  I just installed another genuine HP 902XL and still nothing but the three Target brand colors.
