Hi, I got an error message that one or more cartridges appear to be damaged.  I took an Instant Ink subscription because of that reason.  Installed the new original HP cartridges this morning and very briefly it said successfully installed genuine HP cartridges and then went back to "Cartridge problem" ... "cartridge(s) appear to be damaged" showing M, Y and K (same as before).  Very disappointed - wrong printer message leading me to take subscription and no solution.  Please advise what to do now; thanks

Hi Jabzi, thanks for your message but this didn't help; these are the general troubleshooting steps.  I had already done online search for a solution and found another threat in this forum https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Inkjet-Printing/Officejet-Pro-8610-Damaged-Cartridge-Problem/m-p/63275...; I followed those steps too (reinstalling the software, removing and replacing the printhead) but the problem persists.

Any (other) support would be welcome.  Thanks.
