HP Recommended

I thought I would let you know where this stands.

They did PM me and offered to send another printer. Since it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue that would not help. For what it would cost HP to send another printer they could cover the costs of the paid HP service to correct the problem. I did not receive a transcript of my chat session with the support person so I couldn't contact the people they referred me to if I wanted to. So I guess I will have to use the printer the way it is and hope for the best. Not the ideal situation! Thanks for your help.
