Officejet 3830 cartridges not compatible

HP Recommended
officejet 3830
Android 8.0 Oreo and older

My cartridges have been in for about 2 months now I have used them about a half a dozen or a little more than that.  it has worked fine now all of a sudden it's telling me the cartridges are not compatible and I am unable to print. I have tried unplugging for a while and turning it off and on everything and it won't work.

@Annasgranny, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

  • Which of the ink cartridges is indicated as incompatible?
  • Inset one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective ink cartridge.

For now, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
