This problem is happening on my laptop and my desktop.

I'm unable to print in color. There is color ink in my printer and it prints color just fine. I did the "Print Quality Diagnostic" and color ink printed exactly as it was supposed to. This is a software issue that I just can't seem to figure out. I've gone through multiple troubleshooters and this forum to see if I could find an answer. 😞

I installed and reinstalled the software and drivers for my printer, on my laptop, and I was able to print ONE picture in color. I did this by simply right-clicking the picture and hitting print. (On my desktop, I can't get the program to reinstall, so that's a whole other issue.) I then went into Photoshop to edit the photo and then print it again and all of a sudden, I'm limited to only printing in monochrome again. I have an Epson printer also installed and I have no issue printer color on that printer, but it's set up with sublimation ink and I need to use regular ink.

The printer seemed to be working fine a few weeks ago and now it's not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.
