Hi @JohnDoe99912

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you. Lets us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Check the estimated ink levels

On the printer control panel, touch the Ink Level icon. Replace any low or empty ink cartridges.

Clean the printhead

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the right arrow  to display more options.

  2. Touch Setup, and then touch Tools. The Tools Menu displays.

  3. Touch Clean Printhead.

  4. Wait while the printer completes the printhead cleaning process, and then touch OK.

NOTE: You might have to clean the printhead several times to correct the issue.

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Right Arrow () to display more options.

  2. Touch Setup (). The Setup Menu displays.

  3. Touch the Down Arrow (), and then touch Reports.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report. The test page prints.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I let the print head clean 3x in quick succession, same result.
