Officejet 6950 gets thrown off network by Mac

Office Jet 6950

My Office Jet works fine with iPhone, iPad and PC but when I use my MacBook I get the message "Printer not connected". The Printer is connected to the network which is good speed BT Broadband but when I try to use the MacBook it throws it offline. I'm not very technical and my previous Epson printer went out of the window for the same lack of reliability!

Officejet 6950 gets thrown off network by Mac

Hi,

Thank you for contacting HP.

I do understand that your printer does not get connected to the macbook.

I would provide you a link which has detailed steps to fix the issue.

Please perform the steps below:-

1) Ensure the printer and the macbook are connected to the same 2.4 GHz network. (Printer would work only on a 2.4 GHz network).

2) Open the link below and perform the steps as explained

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-deskjet-2600-all-in-one-printer-series/12319824/model/167793...

When you open the link, Perform Step 1) and Step 2) , there is Step 3) that has different sections, please choose the correct section accordingly to proceed.

For further assistance please reply to the post.
