I replaced all ink cartridges with original HP.  Colors seem to print OK, but black is either no print at all or very light.  This despite having done all the updates and tests -- cleaned heads by the machine, manually etc.  This seems like a problem previously posted.  The printer did sit idle for a few months, if that matters.

 

I am at my wit's end.

Hi,

 

Thank You for contacting HP.

As the issue is with Black printing and I see you have performed cleaning from the printer menu, there are different levels of cleaning, after first level it gives an option of 2nd level cleaning, I would recommend you try that.

 

Also try the steps in the link below:-

Please open the link on Internet Explorer or MS Edge.

 

If the issue remains then I would recommend you contact the support on the no 18004746836 as this would need hardware intervention then.
