Officejet 7510

Hello,

After the dead of my officejet 7612, I bought a 7510 Officejet, to have the same ink.

I saw that the rear duplexer of the 7612 can replace the rear module on the 7510. The duplexer have 3 electrical contacts, the 7510 printer have also the 3 contacts (the 7510 module have only 2 contacts).

So I hope that 7510 recognize the 7612 duplexer and then can realise automatic double side print (and not manualy)

But no option is available... And I don't succed to double side print .

I suppose that the firmware of the 7510 block it...

Do you have idea to activate the duplexer ?

Thanks for your help.

Welcome to HP support community.

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

Enable duplexing on your computer.

  1. Start menu > "Control Panel"
  2. Choose "Printers and Faxes"
  3. Right click your primary printer.
  4. Choose "Printing Preferences"
  5. Choose "Finishing" tab.
  6. Check "Print on both sides"
  7. Click "Apply" to set as the default.

I hope that helps.
