@kATSKON, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

This seems like a hardware issue with the printhead of the printer. Let us try these steps to resolve this issue:

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your computer.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, perform step 2 mentioned in this document.

Let me know how this goes.

That's unfortunate. If the issue persists, please contact our HP Support team for Service Options as it could be a possible hardware issue:

1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Select the appropriate option based on your preference.

6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Hi, is there any possibillity for Part Reset of the printer?

HP Recommended

@kATSKON

The printhead on this printer is integrated and cannot be removed/re-installed. Resetting the printer will not help as this is a hardware issue. Hence, kindly contact HP Support team for service options as mentioned in the previous post.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

@feelzie31 Hey! If you've gone through all the steps from the post by @Kumar0307:

Performed a hard reset,

Updated the printer firmware,

Attempted different ways of firmware update,

You've identified your ink cartridges using the step 2 from this link,

And yet the issue persists, (unless you have another printer, in which case, please tell us which printer you have)

This could be a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

Keep us posted,

And Good luck.
