Hi,

I am trying to print learning centers for school.  The printer keeps cutting everything off on the top/bottom like the borders are off 2.5 inches or so.  It's a PDF file.  The printer driver has been updated, I've tried printing actual size, fit to size, custom size, shrink to fit, and none have worked.  I am at a loss and have wasted quite a bit of cardstock and ink.  I have tried to print from Adobe Reader and Microsoft Edge.  Please help!

Hi @stellarstamper

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printing issue.

To better assist you -

1.) Are you experiencing this issue while making a copy as well?

2.) Have you tried printing on a different paper type?

3.) What's the type and size of the paper?

While you respond to that, I'd suggest you refer to the  Printer Specifications for HP OfficeJet Pro 8700 Printers to check if the paper you are trying to print on is compatible or not.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
