Ran network test report and received an Error message: Officejet Pro 8500 A909g (all in one) wireless radio not functioning.
the menu screen says its on and the blue light is on, but no connection.
Appears to be a hardware problem, any ideas.

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!
I understand that your wireless radio is not working on your HP Officejet 8500. This could be a hardware issue if the wireless card has failed completely, but I would like you to try the HP Support document: Performing a Partial Reset of the All-in-One. If resetting the printer as the document gets you to do does not fix the issue, it would be recommended that you contacted HP technical support for repair options.

I had the same problem, and I wonder to myself why wasn't this soloution posted by the hp representative.
I had tried everything, including almost resetting my router. Changed the channel of my router settings, "reset" the device, reset the network; Still nothing. Then i google radio not working and it pulls up a soloution for another printer;
Photosmart C7180 Wireless Radio Not Working.
look into their soloutions and it shows this; Let's reset the printer before we declare it dead. Turn the printer off, hold the # and 6 keys while powering it on. Now, re-run the wireless test. If it fails this time, the radio has failed.
Guess what? Resets the radio and everything else and not the printers working like a charm again. Just don't understand why someone from hp wouldn't think aobut attempting the same offering with this printer. Anyway, it really reset the printer and went through all the steps. And viola; printing from my phone and every other device in the house like clockwork. Hope this helps.

Had the same problem with my a909g - wireless radio not functioning. Tried alot of things before I came across this. Powered up holding the # and 6 keys and a reset was executed and my radio is now working. This command appears to work on touch screen printers (of this vintage at least).
