HP Recommended

This happened on my Officejet 6600.

What finally worked for me was to run the "clean printhead" over and over again. I ran it at least 3 times, then the printer screen suggested level 2 so I did that, then level 3 when it suggested it. So after 5 or 6 times, finally back to normal colors.

As a suggestion to HP, printer test pages and troubleshooting really ought to say what color the test pages should have and where it should show up. I was getting beautiful test pages with purple, pink orange, green and brown showing up beautifully with no streaks or fuzziness or fading. I made the assumption that it probably at least show cyan, magenta and yellow but it would have been nice to know it for sure.
