I am trying to print photos on a A4 glossy photo paper which the manufacturer specifically marked as "inkjet compatible". I have loaded it glossy side down, chosen the "glossy special" option - and the printer can't load the sheet. When I change it back to "regular paper", then sometimes the printer manages to load the sheet, but then it always gets stuck and I need to take it out via back opening. What is going on??

@Nodoro, Welcome to HP Support Community!

This could be an issue with the paper feed rollers in the printer. I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document Paper Jam Error to resolve the issue.

Also, ensure the paper used matches the paper-handling specifications of the printer-Printer Specifications for HP OfficeJet Pro 8700 Printers

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
