Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

Is there a way to know when ink levels are getting low?  When printing is poor we're not sure what ink needs changing.  Old computer told us when ink levels were getting low in a particular cartridge.  Can't find this info on this new printer HP Office Jet Pro 6978.  Please help.

HP Recommended

Swipe down the tab at the top of the screen, and there will be ink level icon looks like a droplet.
