Hello there!  I tried that pull the plug, hold the power button for 60 seconds, plug back in, and turn back on.  Marker supply still low.  ??

I have noted the multiple requests for interpretation/translation of the phrase "marker supply low" and the consistent neglect of those requests. As I just now received alerts to low black ink level on my OfficeJet Pro 6978 display after a print job, I decided to check the Printer Settings on my Mac (running Catalina 10.15.3, recently updated). In the printer settings for the 6978, Options and Supplies > Supply Levels, I see a yellow triangle beside the black in line. Below that it reads "Marker Supply Low." Thus, it seems that "marker" is merely a cryptic term that means "ink."
