After a couple of years of routine and successful use, my attempt to print is met with an error message saying that the printer os out of paper.   The tray was more than half full so I tried re-adjusting the paper in the tray, checking to assure that there was not a page jammed in the roller and re-booting the printer.    The message persists and printing function is blocked.   Any suggestions?
