Paper jam

Message Paper Jam on my HP Envy 5540 printer.

Cleared paper, restarted printer same message Paper Jam, followed HP support instructions to clear paper jam, carefully and clearly.

Although the printer goes through the motions of preparing to print, it stops then displays paper jam message. Help please.

Although the Troubleshooting document is pretty long, there are a limited number of known solutions.

Generally, all else equal (and tried), there is either a tiny bit of paper hiding (perhaps under / behind a drawer) or the printer needs to be Reset.

If you did not do so, be sure to complete Step 5 (Reset).
