Hi guy I hope you can help. 

 

My printer has started printing partial pages that stop abruptly (in different places) with a solid black line horizontally across the page. Then nothing underneath.

 

It's as if the connection has been interrupted and only printed half the page. 

 

It is happening more and more and I'm running out of paper to print 4 sheets just to get one good copy.

I have pictures Here  of what it looks like.

 

Please help me, your my only hope.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

If it does not copy fine, follow the steps mentioned in this HP document to fix the issue:- Click here

It copies fine and the quality is perfect. The only issue is with printing. As you can see for the pictures it's not a quality issue.

Update the printer firmware

I just checked and its using the most recent firmware.

Does this happen while printing from a specific application?

Only when I print from a mobile device.

 

I also reset the printer to factory defaults and reinstalled the hp smart app to no avail.

Check for updates on your phone - 

 

1) Open your phone's Settings app.
2) Near the bottom, tap System and then Advanced and then System update.
3) You'll see your update status. Follow any steps on the screen.

 

Try printing from HP Smart app - HP Printers - Install and Use the HP Smart App

 

Try printing photos and documents saved on your phone. If you are printing from a browser, try an alternate browser and check.
