Hi! Im having trouble resetting my EWS password. It keeps telling me to sign in. But i havent changed the admin password yet. I tried pressing the cancel and wifi button already but when i try to go to the EWS page it stil requesting a username and password. I tried using admin / admin as username and password admin / blank and even left all blank but to no avail. Any suggestion will be of great help. Thanks!

Hi,

Try using admin (all lower case) as the user and your wifi password, this is a common mistake insert the wifi password into the administrator settings.

 

If that does not work, press and hold the cancel button for 3 seconds to print a Printer Status Report and locate the listed firmware version.

What is the firmware version listed for your printer?

HI! I did evrrything you instructed. I still can't get in. The username and passwordscstill pops out. Tried all different kinds of admin default passwords, my router password, even after pressing the wifi and cancel buttons.

My firmware is THP1FN1815AR
