PhotoSmart C4740 Printer: Brand New Ink Cartridges - Won't Print Black

Microsoft Windows 10 IOT

I have run the Printer Toolbox cleaning option.  Replaced BOTH ink cartridges.  When I align the printer, it only prints color.  The ink levels show the black ink is full - I just purchased genuine HP Ink and have never used anything else.  It just stopped working.

When it prints the alignment page - - only the color spots/designs show up.

Appreciate you trying the steps to resolve the printing issue. I'd suggest you, Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
