Poor Colour printing

HP Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Has anyone any ideas please as to why, after installing a new set of genuine inks, the colour printing is dull and doesn't echo the colours on screen.

I've done two cleans but the print quality diagnostic sheet still shows dulled colours.  The green box is a greyish green.

Thank you

Poor Colour printing

@cataddy, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I would recommend you follow the steps from the document Fixing Poor Print Quality. Additionally, Update the printer firmware. Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. For more information, go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware.

If the issue persists, reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer/ink replacement.

Hope this helps!
