Print Cartridge on OfficeJetPro 8625 stuck on far right. Won't Move.

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I went to scan earlier today and I am getting this warning "The print carriage cannot move. open the ink carriage door. clear any paper or obstruction. Hit OK". I have watched videos.There is not paper or obstruction. I've looked front and back. I've turned off. REbooted. Taken power cords out. But the cartridge will not move.  I was able to scan -but that darn warning message keeps popping up. I have never used this printer a lot, because  I do most of my printing with a HP Laserprinter.  I use this to ocassionally do color printing. (sorry for typos.) Is this HP Obsolescence that requires me to buy a new printer/scanner? The twitter man suggested there was a help/chat line. I did not find that. I found this community. The printer is not under warranty - as I'm sure you know based on the model #. I hate to lose all the newer ink I put in there (I only use HP ink) and the printer. Ideas welcome and appreciated.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve the issue. If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
