Since I bought my printer back in July it will not print black words without being slightly blurry. I have literally tried everything, cleaning nozzles, changing the ink cartridges (which are all the genuine HP ones) checked the alignment. Used different paper (but use the HP every day paper) and nothing will stop the wording being slightly blurry. It is so frustrating as bought this for my new business and can only properly print in colour. Please help????

I have gone through your Post and I appreciate all your efforts and expertise in troubleshooting this issue

Please use the HP Utility to clean the ink cartridges from macOS or OS X.

  1. Make sure to load plain paper into the input tray.

  2. Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.

  3. Depending on your version of OS X, click Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners.

  4. In the Print & Scan or Printers & Scanners window, select your printer, and then click Options & Supplies.

  5. Click Utility, and then click Open Printer Utility.

    HP Utility opens.

  6. Click Clean Printheads , and then click Clean.

A Print Quality Diagnostic page prints.

  7. Examine the Print Quality Diagnostic page.

    • If the print quality is acceptable, click Finish. You can stop troubleshooting.

    • If the print quality is unacceptable, click Cleaning Level 2 to continue the next level of cleaning.

Note:If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

Hi there, thanks for your response. I added the app and have cleaned the cartridges with no luck at all. Really frustrating as it is a small blur on each letter. Really annoying as I've got so much to print for my new business and its just impossible to do so. It also states that the warrantee is unknown. Now what do I do?
