Officejet Pro 8600

Have a message “The printer head appears to be missing, not detected or incorrectly installed.” I have opened the door. Raised the carrier leaver. Removed the cartridge containing four colors. Removed the print color cartridges. What is next to find the “printer head?” Where is the printer head located? I don’t know what it looks like, where it’s located (on the cartridge carrier or inside the slide area) so is it missing or is it that it’s not missing but that I just don’t know where to look for it? If it’s there and not detected how do I make it detectable? If none of the above, how do I correctly install? The print cartridge carrier seemed to be correctly installed.  And I have turned it off waited 15 seconds then turned it back on over 10 times and I continue to get the same message. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
