Print on papper smaller than I see in Word preview.

When I print a Word-document with a copied picture it looks OK in Word preview.

But in the resulting paper the picture is cut in the right margin.

Preferences - Correct odd / wrong-sized Image Sizes (for example, when printed from Word)

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Right-Click on your printer > Printing Preferences >

Tab Layout > Click Advanced > Switch OFF HP Real Life Technologies

Make sure you are using Insert to place images into your Word document (as opposed to copy / paste.

After the image is inserted, you can Right-Click on the image to adjust the Size and Position.

Placement can also be adjusted for Wrap Text parameters, for example, Tight, Left, Right, In Line

Margins must not be smaller than those allowed by the printer.  For example, most printers will tolerate "Narrow" margins (.5 inches on a side).  Best to check.  Remember, Headers and Footers, too, must be inside the allowed margin area.

Printers do not all support Borderless - for those printers that do support the option, Borderless may not be supported on all paper sizes / Media types. 

Check your printer's Specifications  and or the Datasheet for "what the printer can do".

Example - Datasheet

Print area

Print margins: Top: 3 mm, Bottom: 12.7 mm, Left: 3 mm, Right: 3 mm

Maximum print area: 215 x 355 mm
Borderless printing No

If all else fails, shove the image into a Text Box.

Insert Text box

Then Insert your image inside the box

• Use Insert (as opposed to copy / paste) when placing images into a document
• If images will not stay contained in spite of margins:
  • Insert a Text box of the size necessary to contain the image
  • Insert the Image inside the empty text box
