Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just installed a new Office Jet 5212. Performed alignment twice, but print lines either start or end skewed. Need to resolve. See photo of text lines.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the print quality issue. 

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Are you using e genuine HP ink? 

2) Are you experiencing this issue while making a copy as well? 

 

While you respond to that, please try these steps - HP OfficeJet Printers - Fixing Print Quality Problems

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

 

If the issue still persists, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue.

New printer right out of box with the two cartridges that came in the box. Haven't tried copying yet, but I will.

Copying from glass and doc feeder are normal

Don't know what happened, Windows to updated, then updated the HP Firmware and drivers, now printing normal. Thanks for your help. Problem solved, I think.
