Product: HP Officejet Pro 8610

I am getting the error message "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP". I have done the above and also taking all the printer cartridges out, checked the print head and taken the power cord out too. The message doesn't seem to want to go. Any suggestions?
