Printer Error

OfficeJet Pro 8610-e

When I turn my printer on, I get an error message to call HP. The message says, "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP." I can't do anything with my printer, even make copies. But here, I can't find any phone numbers to call. Sooooo.....???

Printer Error

@Evenegas Greetings from the HP Community!

Here are a few steps that should help resolve the issue:

Step 1: Reset the printer

Resetting the printer might clear the error message.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  1. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  2. Wait 60 seconds.

  3. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE:

HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

  4. Turn the printer on.

If the error message persists, continue to the next step.
