Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The printer is connected via WiFi and I am using HP Smart to connect to it.  I can successfully connect, print, scan, and fax from my HP laptop running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and from Samsung Galaxy S8 running Android version 7.0.  However, I am having problem connecting and using the printer functions from my Microsoft Surface running Windows 10 Home version 1909.  Every time I use HP Smart app to connect to the printer, it shows it online, but after connecting, it's offline.  I tried to add the printer using Windows Printers & Scanners, but it lists it as DIRECT-AE-HP Officejet 6950 Printer.  After selecting this printer, windows can't find the right driver.  Please provide a solution.  Thank you.

Hello,

Your printer is detected with the name DIRECT-AE-HP Officejet 6950, so Windows detects it as a Wi-Fi Direct connection.

On the computer causing the issue, please use HP OfficeJet 6950 series Full Drivers and Software to install the printer.
