Printer Preferences receiving an error

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I installed updated software and drivers for my HP OfficeJet 3830. Now I receive an error message, #HPED6B07, every timeI click on it. The message states "Function address 0x7e5a9129 caused a protection fault (exception code 0xe06dd7363)." I was able to update printing preferences before the software/driver update. How can this be fixed?

This did not solve the problem. I was able to change the settings one time after re-installing the drivers, then it went right back to giving me an error

@jmp222

This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.
