Printer SetUp Failure 9010 series

HP OfficeJet Pro 9018

I’m trying to set up my brand new printer (OfficeJet Pro 9018) purchased from Costco yesterday. I got to the step in which I insert paper to run a test page and it now gives me the error message “Use Setup Cartridges”. I did. 

I followed the troubleshooting guide for the error message on HP’s site (checked them, reinserted them, turned printer off and on again), but it still says the same error. These are new cartridges that came in the unopened box. They are labeled “setup cartridge”.  I cannot figure out how to bypass the error message because there are no other buttons or places to press on the 9010 series. 

Now I’m just annoyed. Any suggestions?

I have sent you a private message with the steps to bypass the setup ink message which is specific to your printer. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
