Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge is  correctly installed, and then touch OK. In the last week my printer has stopped working. This problem occurred even though the ink cartridge has been installed for a couple of months and printed with no issues. I changed my cartridge (using genuine HP cartridges) and then received a messaged saying this is a previously used HP cartridge although I purchased it from new. I then attempted to install a third cartridge and am now back to the original message. I have tried restarting the printer, cleaning the contacts and reinstalling the cartridges a number of times as recommended on other posts. After restarting the printer the first time, it printed half a page and then cancelled mid-way and showed the error message again.

I have tried calling and been told the number I have called is not recognised. Is this the correct number to call from Ireland?

Please be advised:

Do not accept the number of any service claimed to be provided by HP. If you are being contacted by an HP employee, you will know by the orange indicator next to the name stating their role on this platform. 

Any other user providing service numbers are likely spammer.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
