HP ENVY 4527
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer bought new in August 2019. Installed and not been moved since. Has had very little use. Only had genuine HP 302 cartridges installed in it from new which were working fine until a few days ago. Then had an error message saying the cartridges were not recognized and printing was not possible.

Checked that they are seated correctly.

Checked and cleaned connectors that looked perfectly good as new (which is what they were)

Checked firmware update.

Conclusion, printer (or ink cartridges) has/have failed. Reluctant to buy new ink to eliminate ink cartridge failure only to find that that that isn't the problem hence wasting even more money.
Also...i checked the warranty online which informs me that it has now expired as it ran from 09/10/2018 to 07/12/2019. I only bought the printer in August 2019!

Stupidly I did not keep the receipt. Should have known better really.
