Printer is not printing inspite of full cartridge.

HP DeskJet 5085
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Printer does not print clearly inspite of changing the cartridge to fresh ones. Tried printing in both black & white And color and the same issue arises

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the printing issue. 

 

To better assist you - 

 

1.) Does the copy works?

2.) What's the application that you are printing from?

3.) Have you tried printing from a different device?

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report from the printer control panel, and post here. To print the report, try these steps - 

 

1) Load the printer with plain white paper.

2) On the printer control panel, swipe left on the display, and then touch Setup .

3) Touch Tools.

4) Swipe up on the display, and then touch Print Quality Report.

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware. Refer to this document for steps - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
